This is a continuous loop video to demonstrate the Fiber Optic sensor detecting the hand of Lara Ariel as her hand touches the header of the car door.  When the closing window  forces her hand against the sensor (with a force of less than 15 Newtons)  the electric motor of the car door  is programmed to reverse.

This continuous loop video  is an enlarged section of the the Fiber Optic sensor detecting Lara Ariel's finger as it touches car door window seal sensor.  The sensor is imbedded in the header of the window seal.  When the closing window forces the finger against the sensor  (with a force of less than 5 Newtons) the motor  is programmed to reverse preventing the finger from being squashed by the unintentional closing of the car door window.
